Dear Campers,
Great job! You thrived through 5 weeks of 5:00am in the summer. I am so proud of you. Our focus this session has been Living Righteously - Making the right decision at the right time. The scripture references that I used were:
- Isiah 32:17 - The work of the righteous will be peace, and the effect of righteousness, quietness and assurance of forever.
- Matthew 13:43 - Then the righteous will shine forth as the sun in the kingdom of their Father. He who has ears to hear, let them hear!
- Proverbs 10:11 - The mouth of the righteous is a well of life.
Mark these scriptures in your Bible and use them as a commitment to shape your decisions as you move through your life. Many times the next best right step is to simply listen to someone going through a heartbreaking time in their life. Just listen, just be there and just pray. It is certainly the righteous thing to do.
Many of you are curious about the next camp. It will be a "mini-camp" that goes July 25 - August 2. The first week we meet MWF and the second week week we will meet on Monday and Tuesday only. It will be 5 power - packed workouts for $20 to keep you primed for our next big RBC experience. The next camp will start on August 22 when GISD gets rolling again.
Thank you for your commitment to your health, this program and your friends. I truly believe that the success of RBC comes in the weekly renewal of your faith, your fitness and your friends. I am so blessed to have the opportunity to guide such as amazing group of believers.
Please pray for your RBC friends that will be participating in adventure events this weekend. We are headed to Colorado on Sunday in an effort to beat the heat....I just may not come home!
